I've had it on for nearly a year, and I'd say it's pretty durable. Easy to clean too-- just a simple wipe-down is sufficient. If you take decent care of your interior, you'll be fine. My rear center console has 2 scuff marks due to passengers not being careful with their shoes when getting into the car.

As far as wrapping your trim, don't worry about ripping through the fabric. The fabric base beneath the CF pattern is somewhat elastic, so it'll stretch around those corners without a problem.
