Exactly. I'm kinda baffled to how all the reviews that I've read before buying the car didn't mention once about the awkward tranny. Maybe the review models BMW handed out had a different one?
Resetting helps a bit but after it adjusts, D is still unusable, DS has a slight response lag when you want to gun it and manual shifting is the way to go but you suffer a bit with MPG. If anyone needs an Alpina flash, it's clearly us 335d owners. Alas, I don't expect to ever see one.
