ECU code: 3226 & 3227
Hey guys, looking for some help and knowledge concerning my 2011 BMW E90 335i xDrive.
I am having a check engine light for these following two codes:
3226: DMTL leak diagnosis pump, activation : Short circuit to earth.
3227: DMTL leak diagnosis pump, activation: Line disconnection.
I also have a random iDrive message saying my rear left light is malfunctioning, but I can confirm it is physically working.
Knowing that the DMTL pump is at the rear left of the car, I was wondering if it was possible that the light and DMTL share some electrical lines that are damaged or were eaten by an animal.
If anyone knows the electrical layout of the wires and could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
It might also be just my battery struggling with the cold.
