I'm not trying to sound like I'm cocky but I can almost guarantee I have driven faster cars than you, if my first car is over 30000 dollars you can imagine my dad has some pretty expensive stuff, not saying I'm a better driver than you but I have a feel for how fast cars are and to not toy with them |
Why'd you bother saying you're 16 in the first place? How did that help the story/what you were hoping to get from the responses? Seems like by mentioning something like that you should expect people to say you're going to act stupid (like most of us did when we were 16) and not get upset about it. Or, you know, leave out the detail about being 16 (aka bragging) and just ask for advice on what to do to the new car.
