Also, finding a clean e36 M3 is very difficult right now. Many will already have engine issues or a slew of electrical problems. E36s have lots of problems many of which aren't expensive to fix, but add them all up and you get a huge bill. That being said, the E36 is an awsome chassis. Even a 325is is a blast. It's one of the easiest cars to drive hard. Try to get one with about 70k miles. It's gonna be tough but you can find one. Also, keep about $3k in reserve always in case anything breaks.
