unless the e36 becomes a project car (heavily modified) and that's your goal, i wouldn't bother otherwise. your e90 330i isn't that much slower than the e36, and end of day you'll miss the modern electronics and comfort that comes with your e90. this of course is assuming both cars will be your daily.
