Brakes/rotors are getting worn so I was thinking about doing an upgrade and putting slotted rotors with maybe new brake calipers possibly with a black finish to match my black 2007 335i. I have new 19" rims that really show off the brakes. I occasionally track the car and do some spirited driving. But I realize the upgrade maybe more for looks. I just don't want to cheapen the car with some fake caliper covers or cheap calipers. But don't want to break the bank either. Any recommendations out there for slotted rotors with new black calipers? I have heard of some people just getting the stock rotors painted at a body shop. Not sure about that either. I see a lot of red calipers but not sure how I would like the look.
