My opinion is that what Audi are developing for the next RS4 will mimic that BMW will be doing for the next M3, i.e. north of 7K and a board peak power instead of the usual first peak power rev point of a traditional N/A engine.

I am also curious as to whether BMW will have a flat torque curve from a low figure similar to that of the N54. I wonder will they intend build it gradually to give it a more familiar torque charactistic of an N/A but obviously with more torque everywhere than the engine it replaces.
