That's pretty good economy Pyro - high 5s is my best so far (ha!).

Some more on the performance of the mighty 330D coupes, I found an article in my collection of car magazines, in Motor Sept 2010, of the Bang For Your Bucks results. Its the edition with the orange E92 M3 GTS on the cover.

Around Wakefield Park, the car with a professional driver lapped in the mid 1M:11secs, about the same time as the 317Kws HSV and Chrysler SRT8. V Max at the end of the straight was 170Kph but was the fastest car around turn 8 leading onto the straight. (By comparison, my brother's Formula Ford 1600 open wheeler laps in the 1:05-06s, V max about 160Kph downwind).

0-100 was 6.25s; 0-400 14.39s - not bad, but a bit off the factory specs.

The car was ranked 11th out of 14 cars overall, losing out due to the high cost - at that time, $100,500 with 19s & M/Sport pack (plus dealer costs and on roads). The testers were impressed thou, especially with "its cutting-edge all alloy ... 24-valve 3.0 litre turbodiesel".
