I'm sure the M button does the same thing as DS

Throttle postion to actually throttle position
In regular mode the throttle position is less aggressive...example at 20% throttle it may only be 10% in reality, at 30/15% and so on.
In DS it may change that to be 20% position /25% or what is known as positive exponential. So realistically the car is producing more power and is more aggressive. I guess in simplest terms it's "more sensitive" but in reality it's making more power.
I test drove a new Subaru (the turbo outback) and it had a graphical illustration of the power out put on the dash. Limiting the fuel...makes less power.
