I started thinking the other day why can't i use an external hard drive in my USB port. So I go out to the car and try it and it works. Then I jump on here and see all the threads about it.
Anyway here is what works for me.
Old laptop Hard drive in USB case, 40 GB Hitachi - 4200 rpm.
*Just tried a 40 gb fujitsu 4200 laptop hard drive and that worked as well
I had 2 old laptops and both of them have this drive
