A few months on and the mod has worked perfectly, no DSC/ABS warnings since and the tyre pressure warning system works when its supposed to.
I think when I get the chance I will remove the rear sensor on the other side of the car and see if I need to add a spacer, to stop it getting worn away on the reluctor ring (it could already be rubbing away if there is corrosion on the drivedhaft, and a matter of time before it causes problems and needs replacing.)
