I just bought an AR catted downipe and my intention is to use one of these in the 90 degree version. I'm still going to use the cel clear function from stage 2+, but my intention is to flash back to stage 1 or stock a day or two before inspection, get the car to a ready state and drive it like a grandma until I squeak through emissions and flash back to a stage 2+ variant.
I don't think these are a long term cel solution but rather a device which in conjunction with a HFC and/or careful planning prior to inspection will allow you to skate through the obd2 portion. If you are subject to a visual as well you will still have to find someway around that, be it Benjamins, HFC or hollowed out stock down pipe.
