Looks like a regular o2 spacer to me.
The spacers with the little catalytic converter look promising but they apparently aren't quite up to the task.
It seems like they work alright if you drive the car moderately but once you start pushing some gas through the pipe, the o2 readings fall out of spec.
Maybe they need a larger cat inside the spacer.
