Suzuka, 4 October –Today the mystery was solved relating to Tomita, the mysterious and microscopic doll that has been part of Fernando Alonso’s virtual adventures for a while now. Usually seen in places visited by the Spaniard, today this silent friend was in the Scuderia Ferrari garage in Suzuka to witness a memorable meeting between his Japanese “papa” Hideo Baba and Alonso. He was given the name Tomita having been bought in a toyshop in Tokyo. But in fact, his real name is Asbel and he’s the hero of a video game that’s very popular in Japan, called “Tales of Graces” produced by the Bandai company, the third biggest manufacturer of these games in the world. Indeed, Alonso and his little friend will be part of an advertising campaign, which Kaspersky Lab, a world leader in IT security and a Scuderia Ferrari partner since 2010, will launch this November.
