Would these be a self fit, or is it something a garage would need to fit for you.

That should be a tremendous package all rolled into one.
Sheps,

I found a guy who can do it on the link which MOB sent earlier.

Basically, it seems they arrange a group buy for about 3 - 5 members every so often, this chap fits all the kit for you whilst you wait and everyone mills around and has a BBQ or a chat or whatever.

For £1500 you get an inlet manifold, an improved 'Plenum' and a remap.... all fitted. I guess the chap takes a few quid but you cant knock him for that!!

You then just need a BMC Air Filter or similar, which he charges you for, or you can supply yourself, and the final piece of the puzzle is a decent exhaust. Suggested brands are Remus or Magnex...

I got offerred the BMC and the Remus used by another chap for £750 so my total was £2250 - cant knock it at all for that price, plus maybe £30 for fitting the exhaust and I can stick the BMC on myself, or I am sure matey would do it when I handed over the £1500 job lot.

I think it sounds like a very tight package as well. May not make its quoted BHP figures, but with RR graphs coming in between 340 and 355bhp I would take that as decent enough for the money, especially for what is (to me) bread and butter, non offensive, low maintenance mods (its not like a turbo kit for example)

Oh, and the £1500 worth of bits you COULD fit yourself easily it seems, but it sounds like the relationship between the guy who does it and the remap specialist (its turned around whilst you wait across the ocean lol) is helpful, and the community element is well worth it for me.
