It may be a placebo affect but I do. Mainly like others say when you're going 50mph+ and punch it. The next night after installing I was going 50~ in a 45 and the light turned yellow, the guy ahead of me was stopping, I went around and punched it and I have never been thrown back in my seat like that before. I feel like the 40$ is worth the price even if it is for the reasons to get through yellow lights and make quick passing lane changes. They also look nice imo.
