This update can take nearly 3 hours. It might depend on how much new info needs installing. The problem is unless you have a 3 hour journey your BMW won't stay powered up and like me you might have to go out to the car every 15 minutes and press the power button (no need to start the car)
If anyone knows a way of keeping BM's powered up I'd like to know.
