£76 a month!!!! I’m amazed they will even offer a warranty on an 11 year old car.
My advice, for what it’s worth, would be to buy the car carefully, having it checked over by the AA or similar then put the £76 in a ‘just in case’ savings account. That’s nearly a grand a year that you can spend on any repairs should you need to. The warranty is going to have a lot of exemptions probably whereas your savings won’t.
