from what i have read jus breifly, the 335i is not bi-turbo its twin turbo ie both turbochargers are of indentical size!!
so for a turbo upgrade you would have to change both and will suffer a compromise for having more top end power but lag which with the smaller ones you dont?
is this the same for the diesel? i feel not? surely that is bi-turbo? one small and a larger one?
