so for a turbo upgrade you would have to change both and will suffer a compromise for having more top end power but lag which with the smaller ones you dont? Pretty much unless someone can build a new turbo manifold that can take a single turbo setup. Before doing that they have to figure out how they're going to get better high flow direct injectors for more power. Not cheap.
is this the same for the diesel? i feel not? surely that is bi-turbo? one small and a larger one? According to BMW and the tech specs, the 335d does indeed have 2 turbo.. one is small and the other one is larger
