The new wheels are M3 (Style 193) as shown in Post #54. The old ones were "ellipsoid" OEM Style 162s shown in Post #26. If you're interested, the 162s are now for sale.

I actually don't have any other use for the trunk. I don't carry much and, if I'm buying a lot of things that won't fit in the 335i, I drive my F250 truck instead.
