I forgot the lights on this morning at work and when i came back in few hours, car was almost dead, i could see the parking lights were still on but pretty dim. I knew it wasnt going to start.
I tried to start it, did a half crank and died completely. Next, i got someone to give me a jump and initially we hooked it up from the trunk
i know.. then we figured out the right way to do it is from the engine bay.
So, dashboard flickers and car doesnt start. If i just put the key in, the lights come on, radio and a/c comes on while the jumper cables are hooked on.
I've read that resetting the IBS might help. Battery is not old, i've replaced it less than two years ago with an OEM battery from the dealer, was not coded in however since i swapped it out myself.
Any ideas ?
