Well, it really wasn't patience - the shop that does my painting wanted to 1st paint the inside edges of the fenders, then install them, then match paint to hood & bumper to paint fenders, along with blending back into front doors & clearing to have it look perfect as they know I would want it.
I just never had time to leave my car with them for the job because it is my DD.
Plus I had planned to install the fenders myself after they were painted & save $$
I'm sure their method is best, but IDK how noticeable it would be if they simply matched the paint, painted the fenders off the car, & I installed them myself?
