I'm wondering if this issue is similar to this recent post.

Seems as if it could possibly be the vibration dampener (aka harmonic balancer?) going out. I seem to hear the similar "ticking" sound in their video. Their screeching/squealing sound is a little more apparent and loud, more similar to a squeaking belt" than mine was. However, I wonder if they are similar problems. Thoughts?
