TPMS Troubleshoot

Hey everybody. New(ish) user here with an E90. I've got some TPMS issues hanging around on my 335i (M-Sport), and it won't go away.

Was wondering if anybody could chime in on some car issues I have.

Where it begins was when I changed a tire (this was my first suspicion). I got a flat and brought the car to my local shop for a replacement (a few weeks ago). The tire guys took off my Sumitomo and put on a RF Bridgestone Potenza. Drove it for a week and the tire prematurely wore out (could've been a fake). Got used Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3 and confirmed the tires were bad.

This was when the light came on and stayed on. Upon inspection, the valve stem had not changed; it is still the metal based, TPMS type valve stem.

The light has remained on and doing a reset would not change its status. Basically, the iDrive system would report that the TPM is malfunctioning. Resetting it would not change this status and would not begin the recalibration process.

During a detailed car wash about a week later, it was discovered that something was missing from the car. From the underside of the body just behind the rear wheel (right), there was a broken bracket with a hanging wire. Turns out it was one of the TPMS relays.

Thinking this was the issue, a new one was bought and installed.

Sadly, this did not rectify the "malfunction", and the system could never reset itself.

What do you guys think could be the issue? Should I check every box from every wheel, and every sensor in every wheel? This would be tedious. Is there anything else I may be missing from the car? I haven't gotten into coding yet so I only know of the iDrive reset procedure.

Any help would be great thanks!
