Just after opinions or advice.

I have 17 inch on my E90 (style 194) They're in reasonable condition with virtually no kerbing (two small marks on one rear wheel) but the finish is starting to look tired and they have some corrosion.

I fancy getting the 18 inch ones that would have been a factory option on my car I think style 193 (seem to be called MV3 online?).

The sets of four on I've spotted on ebay look like at least one is totally knackered, or the decent ones look like they probably still need a refurb anyway, so I'm thinking of buying one at a time for cheaper and then get all four refurbished together.

Do I need to be worrying about potential cracks etc? To what extent will kerbing make the wheel unrepairable?
