Wouldn't recommend a 300+hp RWD car for a 16 year old. Start with a E46 330i ZHP or 328i to get a feel and taste of BMWs. The power and torque is more controllable for someone who just started driving. You'll need to learn basics like driving it in the rain, counter steering, etc. And that's not something you want to do with a N54 or N55.
