I find it comfortable, harder certainly than my 520, but certainly not harsh, even with RFs and SS - I like it, but I suppose I always preferred a sporty drive - the 5 drove me CRAZY, it was like a boat, the 3 is chuckable, and any trade off in comfort, I'm prepared to pay.
My passengers always comment how comfortable it is though......
