That's great, though annoying that the issue might still be lurking. As ctuna mentioned, connectors can definitely be a source of trouble. I've also had electronics problems that only show up in wet/humid weather. Any kind of contamination on a circuit board seems to absorb and retain moisture from the air. So keep that in mind as a potential contributor to the problem too.
