Thanks for the replies.

Sir Dave, did you get asking price out of interest, gauging value of mine.

I bought one (E91) over 21 months ago. Bought on 108k now on 188k.

I’ve had a few motors since being prolific on here. When I bought this E91 335d I also had an A45 AMG daily too.

Bearing in mind the AMG I had from 18 months old and it was still a newish car the bmw blew its socks off in terms of quality. The switch gear, how it’s screwed together etc. ( I forgot how well built and how premium they felt, it had been 10 years since the 335d coupe, although had a couple of E46 M3’s in between)

The maintenance I’ve done in the period of time I’ve owned mine is as follows, and in no particular order

Boost hose
Vacuum lines
Water pump
Thermostat
Rear arms
One wheel bearing
Glow plugs
Glow plug modules
EDIT* Radiator

On top of standard stuff like oil changes and brakes etc.

It’s been a reliable car, and I trust it. Head lights currently pointing at the floor so need to get that looked at.

The A45 was relegated to an additional weekend toy, and it made more sense that way, it’s shite on fuel, and not much space.. but a great weekend toy if you like 4wd turbo hyper hatches! I enjoyed it more this than a daily work car.

But if the weather was brilliant, it wouldn’t get a look in over the 911 GT3 obviously.

The A45 lasted another year before she got retired from the hard life and now resides with its new owner.

The 335d tourer though, now I’ve over halved its value will be staying untill it sees the scrapper in the sky one day.
