I've finally fitted the AR-Design oil catch can to the car.

Mainly to get ready for the imminent remap. but as a long term engine protection method too.

After 1 week and only 150 miles the contents forming on the filter has astounded me.

It's a nasty brown sticky ooze, stinks of broken down / burnt oil and petrol fumes.

god knows how much of that crap has been sucked back into the turbo and intake tract in the last 20,000 miles.

Well worth it IMO for those that want to keep their cars for a while.
