I have a 2008 328xi and I have been running a staggered setup for the last 7 years. It is linea corse dyna 235/35/19 front 265/30/19 rear. Hankook Ventus v12 evo2 wheels. I do notice heavier steering and a little stiffer ride but not uncomfortable to me. My ride is all factory and has non sport seats. My educated guess take it for what you want is that running wider rear wheels and softer tires make it steer harder. Also would like to add never had any transfer case issues and I have 143,000 miles on the car and staggered set up has been on for the last 101,000 miles. In my opinion the car grips way better with the staggered setup and you can really dive it into a corner faster and harder.
