I would say most will get between 32-42mpg average depending on driving, that is UK, so 26-34mpg US.

Ok yeah that does clarify some I forgot about the imperial gallon.
But still, most US users I see posting are struggling to even get 25mpg, meanwhile UK users are stepping on the pedal and getting 27-30 US mpg (35-40 imperial MPG). Is the emissions all that more restrictive in US?
