no way! the waffle weave is the best i've used so far. it only takes me one to dry the entire car without a leaf blower.
after your final rinse, try rinsing it again without the hose nozzle. most of the water is gone after that

I used to do that, but it was a PITA to do that, and it doesn't get the water out from the mirror cracks etc. so I just stuck with the leaf blower. Either way, I got 2 of them, but might pick up 2 more. I use one to pick up the bulk of the leftover water, and then the 2nd to go over it to limit any streaking.
Any trick in getting the water out of the doors so they don't drip onto the side panels after you wash?
