Well in my case...
I carry a weapon for my job so I need a place to stow it when I am going to and from.
As for the Brits not getting it ....
Ask a Brit who had his guns taken from him when your country went "gun free" and see if they "get it"
I may not be able to stop a man/woman or child from breaking into my house or doing me or my significant other harm BUT , I would SURE like the chance to.
