Hey man you're kind of in the wrong section. Don't think many here including me know much about diesels lol. This is for NA n52 and such id suggest you post on the Diesel section.
Either way from general knowledge most exhaust systems will be made to improve sound to an extent. If I had a diesel the first thing I'd do is get rid of the DPF and all that diesel emissions bs that's stuck on the exhaust and I'm sure that'd improve how it sounds too
