5 chips! Ah man, that does need looking at. Will you have it replaced through your insurance do you think?
Funnily enough, mine was due a new windscreen on Monday - a chip I'd not even noticed decided to grow into a 6" or so crack, at the bottom of the screen just above the cowl. However, when the fitter arrived he noticed he'd brought a standard windscreen as opposed to the 'Climate Comfort' windscreen. All being well he'll be back tomorrow to replace it.
I've not applied anything to the lights as yet. When I cleaned them up and posted some pics on a Facebook group, a couple of people suggested clear-coating them. I didn't do that on my old E61 and they were still really clear a good 18 months/20k later when I sold it on, but I might with this. Hmm!
