That's good to know about the e61 ones. I only mentioned it because I see others mentioning it too...I'm not big on exterior stuff at all!

Aah righty. Definitely worth asking the question mate. Even if they only fit like for like, I reckon they'd approve the replacement without any hassle, especially as the chips have been mentioned on the MOT.
When I called up to claim on mine there was a press 1 for this, press 2 for that kind of switchboard. The on hold message gave a website, so I took a look at that, put my reg and policy in, went through a few questions, and it was done and booked in. Fingers crossed they turn up with the right screen today!
