Sirius has just extended their lifetime plan offer which had expired end of last month - see below from

According to my dealer, Sirius will credit you the one year subscription that BMW has paid on your behalf, so you can subtract $142.45 from the above $499.99 and get a life-of-radio subscription.
If you plan on keeping the car for a long time, or just like the idea of providing some residual value for the next owner, this could be a good deal.
