I put the jack stands under the wheel frame (if that's what you call it).
All I have to say is to find a secure place to fit your jack stands.
I did do one wheel at a time. Once I was done with the brakes at that one wheel then I installed everything back, lowered the car, pumped the brakes, and then started on the other wheel.
