I really believe BMW would be better off building this plant in the US, somewhere in the Southeast. Labor may be cheaper in Mexico, but US infrastructure is better, and the managers don't have to worry about getting shot by some drug gang.
I know a great site right across I-55 from the Nissan plant in Canton MS.
