Well, we should feel very lucky for the US prices. I asked the guy who was presenting my car at BMW Welt on Nov 30th 2007 about the price of my 335i sedan in Germany--he said with my options (MT, metallic paint, premium, sport, heated seats) the car would be about 50K euro. This is $75k with the current exchange rate. He said that BMW always sells their new cars 20-30% cheaper on the US market. But now because of that wacky exchange rate we can buy German cars almost twice as cheap as they can get them themselves. Meanwhile, I paid $43k on the road in the States. By the way, ED program gives these special discounts only to the North American customers. All other nation, including Germans, can come and buy the car at the BMW Welt in Munich, have fun etc, but the savings are minimal. I understand something like $500. Thanks God for the saturated US market.
