The 6MT has better gearing for high-speeds & will have slightly lower drivetrain loss (maybe good for 10 HP/10 TQ). From a low-speed roll (like 40 mph) the AT has better gearing (setup for better acceleration) & will cancel out the drivetrain loss.

After 75 MPH the MT is going to shine, but until then the AT is going to be faster thru the gears & get you up to speed quicker. The COBB OTS Maps are INCREDIBLY conservative, especially since people are seeing basically 50 HP/50 TQ gains with ProTune/Custom Maps.
