As I continue my discovery of the new car, I rolled round on the ground yesterday to look at the underside. I ran across something that doesn't quite look like German Engineering.
I've read up on the reason for the exhaust flap, but not sure what the hose clamp and wire ties would be doing here. Anyone have any ideas?
Yes the vacuum hose is attached to the actuator and the armature is attached to the top of the flap. I can move the armature and close the flap, so the add on's are not forcing it open. I can only believe that the clamp is holding the center pin from falling out?
