There's a guy at my gym who loads 10 plates on each side of the leg press machine and proceeds to sit down in the apparatus.
I thought to myself "Not bad for an older guy (he looks to be in his 50's)."
He places his feet on the sled and pushes the weight up.
Again, I tell myself "Not bad at all."
Until I notice that he never undid the safety handles/pegs and was only doing 3" (at best) lock outs. LOL.
He probably can't even get 5 plates per side for 5 full reps. Why even bother.
