I guess what my question distills down to is, for the wheels I have (factory 157), most tires 245 is the max width for an 8" wide rim. I'm more or less happy with them, but if I got 8.5" or 9" wide wheels if I got the offset just so, could I run 255s? It sounds like the answer is no, at least not unless I get some more camber dialed in, and I'm not sure I want to do that.

I'm also trying to ask myself if I dare try DSWs again, I know everyone seems to love them but I literally couldn't keep them on my car (in 19" sizes) I've got some barely worn ones in my storage locker. If they didn't pick up road trash, the sidewalls would crack, I do have a spare tire kit but even so I've never had a car that flatted so often...
