I was going to say that every single one of these cars I've seen when the manifolds off the valves are caked in carbon.

Also be aware the fuel pump plausability can also drop up if the cars run low on fuel, but if yours is going a bit AWOL as you've had one pump fitted already not long ago if you have the paper work to support the pump's purchase under BMW's parts warranty program should the pump be faulty and they confirm this(you'll need to book in with your local BMW dealership under warranty)the pump nad all labour will be supplied/fitted for you FOC providing the part is indeed confired as faulty Dann
