Somebody posted a link in the last couple of pages of that NCS expert errors thread, it's a link to bmw standard tools 2.12 with the patched NCS expert executable so you can edit profiles. I've worked with it because I have windows 7 x64 also, let me know if you have questions. The thread is a sticky btw
