I was thinking of a combination of 3M Dual Lock or double sided tape and a bracket (as an anti-theft measure). Although the problem I see is that if I use both, then the grill will no longer snap out as the tape to the head to the bracket would fasten it into place.
So I think I will have to just do one or the other.
As for tape I was thinking of spreading the slats apart slightly, pushing the head with the both sticky parts in place but with non-sticky spreaders at the top and bottom so the heads will slide between the slats but the non-sticky parts would have enough frictional hold to allow me to align the heads. Then I plan to un-spring the slats enough that the sticky parts make contact and then hopefully slide the non-sticky spreaders out without misaligning the heads.
Sounds complicated and not-workable? It is - which is why I am seeking advice.
Brackets would be better.
